Joyce DiDonato joins the Festival Napa Valley on July 11 for a thrilling evening of music, as part of Uytengsu Family Opening Night. She will be joined by two other incredible artists: violinist Tessa Lark, the 2022 Khaledi Prizewinne, and Clelia Cafiero, recipient of the 2025 Joel Revzen Conducting Prize, who will lead the Festival Orchestra Napa

Joyce will present a diverse selection of songs and arias, including the world premiere orchestrations of songs from Gordon Getty’s song cycle, The White Election, which sets the poetry of Emily Dickinson. Lark will perform He Zhanhao and Chen Gang’s Chinese folk melody-inspired Butterfly Concerto, followed by Igor Stravinsky’s dramatic Firebird Suite.
