Emily – No Prisoner Be has been a vital part of Joyce’s artistic life this season, beginning with the world premiere at the Bregenzer Festspiele and now culminating in an upcoming album release and American tour! 

Written for Joyce by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Kevin Puts, Emily – No Prisoner Be delves deep into the inner world of Emily Dickinson. Joyce performs alongside the genre-defying trio Time for Three, bringing the famously private poet’s words to life. 

Soon, audiences can experience this incredible from anywhere! Released under the Platoon label, Emily – No Prisoner Be drops on January 30, and is available to pre-save on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, and more. 

This February, Joyce and Time for Three will perform Emily – No Prisoner Be at venues across the United States, including Chicago’s Symphony Center on February 10, the Folly Theater in Joyce’s hometown of Kansas City on February 14, and New York’s Carnegie Hall on February 19. The tour will also make stops in Sonoma, Santa Barbara, and Berkley, CA; Madison, WI; and Princeton, NJ.
