'Amahl and the Night Visitors' at Lincoln Center

Celebrate the holiday season with Menotti’s Amahl and the Night Visitors, coming to Lincoln Center Theater from December 16th through January 4th! Joyce stars as Amahl’s mother in a new production by Tony® Award-winning director Kenny Leon, the first seasonal family offering in LCT history, presented in association with The Metropolitan Opera. 

This beloved opera tells the story of Amahl, a young, disabled boy and his widowed mother, whose lives are changed when the Three Kings stop at their humble home on their journey to visit a newborn child. 

Joyce joins a fantastic cast, under the baton of Steven Osgood, with young artist Albert Rhodes Jr. as Amahl, Todd Thomas as King Melchior, Bernard Holcomb as King Kaspar, Philip Boykin as King Balthazar, and Johnathan McCullough as the Page.
