Mozart, Rossini, and more at open-air concert in Luxembourg

On July 5, Joyce DiDonato joins the Philharmonie Luxembourg for a fun and fresh evening of operatic favorites, performed at Kinnekswiss Park as part of the annual three-day music festival, «Kinnekswiss loves». 

Joyce will sing some of her signature arias, including selections from Rossini’s Tancredi and L’italiana in Algeri, Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, Handel’s Serse, Bizet’s Carmen, and others. Maestro Gustavo Gimeno will guide the orchestra one last time as its music director after 10 years with the Philharmonie. She will appear alongside Swiss soprano Chelsea Zurflüh, with whom she will sing Delibes’ famous Flower Duet from Lakmé.
