On September 18th, Joyce DiDonato received the Concertgebouw Prize in Amsterdam. Now in its fourteenth year, the Prize recognizes individual artists and ensembles who make exceptional ongoing contributions to the artistic profile of the Concertgebouw. Previous laureates include conductor Jaap van Zweden, violinist Janine Jansen, baritone Thomas Hampson, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, and trumpeter Wynton Marsalis.
