Joyce DiDonato stars as Virginia Woolf in the world-premiere production of Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Kevin Puts’ The Hours November 22, 25, 28, and December 1, 4, 7, & 10

Featuring a libretto by Greg Pierce, adapted from Michael Cunningham’s acclaimed novel and inspired by Virginia Woolf’s Mrs. Dalloway, the powerful story concerns three women from different eras who each grapple with their inner demons and roles in society. Ms. DiDonato is joined on stage by Renée Fleming as Clarissa Vaughan and Kelli O’Hara as Laura Brown, among others in this superstar cast. Phelim McDermott directs this compelling drama, with Yannick Nézet-Séguin on the podium to conduct Puts’ poignant and powerful score.
