Joyce DiDonato’s EDEN has won the 2022 Opus Klassik Award for “Solo Vocal Recording of the Year.” This award is given to singers for their outstanding interpretative performance in opera and oratorio, as well as concert and song. This year’s prize winners will perform in a special concert on October 9 at Konzerthaus Berlin, including Ms. DiDonato, Jonas Kaufmann, Igor Levit, Ludovico Einaudi, Jeanine De Bique, Lea Desandre and many others. The gala will be broadcast on the same day at 10:15 p.m. via ZDF.

In 2019, Ms. DiDonato was named Opus Klassik‘s “Female Singer of the Year” for her album “Songplay” and in 2018 was awarded “Opera Recording of the Year” for Berlioz’s Les Troyens.
