'Winterreise' and 'In my Solitude' with Craig Terry

Joyce DiDonato and pianist Craig Terry reunite this month for two exceptional programs that will take them to Russia, Spain, Luxembourg, and the United Kingdom. Starting on October 15, at the St. Petersburg Philharmonia, DiDonato and her longtime collaborator will perform Schubert’s masterpiece, Winterreise. Further performances of Winterreise will take place on October 30 at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía and on November 1 at Teatro Arriaga. Known for her adventurous programming, Ms. DiDonato will also perform her “In my Solitude” program with Mr. Terry accompanying. The fantastic program ranging from classical to jazz music will also feature song arrangements by Mr. Terry, which are featured on DiDonato’s critically acclaimed album “Songplay.” Performances of “In my Solitude” will occur on October 20 at Luxembourg Philharmonie, marking the launch of her season-long residency at the Philharmonie, and on October 26 at Barbican Hall.
