'My Favorite Things' tour through Europe

Joyce DiDonato begins the 2021/22 season with her enchanting My Favorite Things tour throughout Europe with her frequent collaborators Il Pomo d’Oro and conductors Zefira Valova & Maxim Emelyanychev. With performances in seven cities, My Favorite Things features Joyce’s most beloved opera arias from the lush repertoire of the 17th and 18th centuries. The program includes instrumental and vocal music by Monteverdi, Cesti, Hasse, Dowland, Rossi, and Rameau, as well as arias from Handel’s operas Giulio Cesare and Ariodante.
