This month, Joyce DiDonato stars in concert performances of Handel’s Agrippina with her longtime collaborators, Il Pomo d’Oro and conductor Maxim Emelyanychev. Based on the life of the mother of Roman emperor Nero, Ms. DiDonato sings the title role, sharing the stage with her esteemed colleagues including Luca Pisaroni as Claudio, Elsa Benoit as Poppea, Xavier Sabata as Ottone, Franco Fagioli as Nerone, Andrea Mastroni as Pallante, and Carlo Vistoli singing Narciso.

Concert dates include May 14 at the Philharmonie Luxembourg; May 16 at the Teatro Real de Madrid; May 18 at the Gran Teatre del Liceu; May 29 at Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, and concluding on May 31 at the Barbican Centre.
