Joyce returns to Carnegie Hall for her exceptional masterclass series
In between her performances as Sesto in Clemenza di Tito at the Metropolitan Opera, Joyce DiDonato returns to Carnegie Hall for her exceptional masterclass series in which she shares her performing experience and extensive knowledge of the opera repertoire with four talented young artists. Over the course of three days, Ms. DiDonato will work with the singers on selected opera arias that will be webcast live from Carnegie Hall’s Resnick Education Wing on medici.tv. Completing the program are additional sessions on breathing, movement, and career development.
The masterclasses will take place on April 12, 13 & 14, with all medici.tv webcasts beginning at 4 pm (EDT). The four thrilling artists for the series this year will include soprano Alexandra Nowakowski, mezzo-soprano Maya Amir, countertenor Keymon Murrah, and tenor Aaron Crouch, all accompanied by pianists Shannon McGinnis and Justina Lee.
