Handel’s ‘Ariodante’ on tour throughout the US

Starring in the title role of Handel’s Ariodante, Joyce DiDonato joins conductor Harry Bicket, The English Concert, and a spectacular roster of singers for a tour at some the United States’ most acclaimed venues.

The tour begins at the University of Michigan’s Hill Auditorium (April 25), followed by performances at Kansas City’s Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts (April 28), New York’s Carnegie Hall (April 30), and the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. (May 2).

Additional cast members include Christiane Karg (Ginevra), Joélle Harvey (Dalinda), and David Portillo (Lurcanio). Many of the performances are now completely sold out; verify current ticket information and availability at the venue websites.

Handel and Joyce DiDonato – cannot wait to see this production. Michigan warmly welcomes this glorious opera master. I hope this will be one of many, many more visits!
