Role debut as Didon in Berlioz’ ‘Les Troyens’

Joyce DiDonato makes her greatly anticipated debut as Didon, Queen of Carthage, in two concert performances of Berlioz’ Les Troyens at the PMC Salle Érasme in Strasbourg. Maestro John Nelson leads the Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg for these concerts, hosted on April 15 & 17, which will be recorded for a future album release. The starry cast also features tenor Michael Spyres as Énée, Marie-Nicole Lemieux as Cassandre, and Stéphane Degout sings Chorèbe.

And I also wanted to add that your french diction is perfect. Thank you for making the effort of mastering the langage, it’s such a pleasure to hear it “spoken” or better said sung that way.
