Joyce DiDonato sings the title role in Handel’s striking opera Alcina, on a concert tour this fall with renowned baroque orchestra The English Concert, led by Harry Bicket. Performances take place October 10 at The Barbican in London (sold out!), the Palacio de Congresos Y Auditorio de Navarra in Pamplona on October 12, at the Auditorio Nacional de Musica in Madrid October 14, Vienna’s Theater an der Wien on October 17, the Theatre des Champs-Élysées in Paris October 20, and New York City’s landmark venue Carnegie Hall on October 26.
