Handel’s ‘Ariodante’ on tour throughout the US and Europe

Starring in the title role of Handel’s Ariodante, Joyce DiDonato joins conductor Harry Bicket, The English Concert, and a spectacular roster of singers for an international tour at some of Europe and the United States’ most acclaimed venues.

The U.S. leg of the tour begins at the University of Michigan’s Hill Auditorium (April 25), followed by performances at Kansas City’s Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts (April 28), New York’s Carnegie Hall (April 30), and the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. (May 2). The artists then travel to Europe, for engagements at Theater an der Wien (May 12), the newly completed Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg (May 14), London’s Barbican Centre (May 16), with a final performance in Paris at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées (May 18).

Additional cast members include Christiane Karg (Ginevra), Joélle Harvey (Dalinda), and David Portillo (Lurcanio). Many of the performances are now completely sold out; verify current ticket information and availability at the venue websites.
