Royal Opera House Tour in Japan

Joyce DiDonato travels to Japan this month, on tour with the Royal Opera House. She joins Antonio Pappano, the Royal Opera House Orchestra, and an acclaimed roster of colleagues for a series of performances throughout the country. Joyce sings Donna Elvira in Mozart’s Don Giovanni on September 13, 17 & 20 at Tokyo’s NHK Hall and September 23 at the Hyogo Performing Arts Center in Nishinomiya, with Ildebrando D’Arcangelo in the title role, Alex Esposito as Leporello, Rolando Villazón as Don Ottavio, and Albina Shagimuratova as Donna Anna in this Kasper Holten-directed production.

On September 19 Joyce also sings with the company in concert, with a programme featuring the Mozart Requiem and much loved arias from the composer, at NHK Hall.
