Joyce DiDonato returns to Carnegie Hall November 4 with an exciting program titled “A Journey Through Venice” featuring Venetian songs and arias dating from the Baroque era to the 21st century, including works by Vivaldi and Rossini. This highly anticipated recital is part of Joyce’s Perspectives series, and is presented in collaboration with pianist David Zobel. The New York Times heralds Ms. DiDonato’s upcoming events at Carnegie: “A complete artist whose virtuosity meshes to vivid effect with her charismatic stage presence, Ms. DiDonato has programmed some of the composers who have long been an integral part of her career.”
